Ochsner Baptist Operating Rooms Renovations Complete

Due to the broad flooding and extensive damage to the emergency systems in the building, caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Ochsner Baptist Operating building lay vacant until the Laboratory and Pharmaceutical renovations in 2008. Patient use gradually increased every year until 2011 when Ochsner approached HMS Architects to help relocate the Lab and Pharmacy spaces back into the main building.  The renovations to the four operating rooms, consisted of new medical gases, new electrical and mechanical systems and bringing the infrastructure back up to current standards.
